Guest Artist: Elsten Torres "Fulano"

Elsten Torres "Fulano" was born in Cuba, when he was one year old his family emigrated to the United States.He grew up in New York and ended up by settling down in Miami, when he was looking for his Latin roots.Se crió en Nueva York y terminó afincándose en Miami, cuando buscaba sus raíces latinas. In 1992 he formed his first group, that with time adopted the name of "Fulano". Nowadays Fulano and Elsten Torres are practically synonymous.

In 1997 he recorded his first record, "Normal" ,with the recording label BMG/RCA, becoming the first local band to get an important contract.Two years after, Fulano decided to go with an independent recording label, Vox/DLN, and the result was Etc. , he recoverd a song from his first album qne new songs, always with a mix of styles, between rock and cuban music, between english and spanish.
Elsten signed a contract with Warner Chappell Music Publishing as a composer. Two of his songs have stood out in the recent years in the voice of other artists: Caramelo ,recorded by Alejandra Guzmán and Los Demás, performed by Julio, el hijo mayor de Julio Iglesias.
