Orlando Rossardi Sardiñas was born in La Habana, Cuba. He moved to Spain in 1960, collaborated with literary magazines and created poetry book Cántico along with René Ariza.
His work has been published in several literary magazines in Europe, Latin America and the USA. Mr. Rossardi studied at the Universities of La Habana and Madrid and received his Ph. D from Texas University. Rossardi has taught at several universities in USA, he has given lectures about theater and Spanish literature around the world. Rossardi is an active
promoter of the Cuban literature in the exile and has been dedicated during many years to radio and tv where he wrote and directed cultural programs.
