First novel by the young and laureated director of movies. This book owes to the movies. It contains interior drawings by Coyula.

Miguel Coyula (La Habana, 1977), graduated from the International School of Film and TV San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. In 2009 won a Guggenheim Fellowship to make his film “Memories of development”, based on the novel by Edmundo Desnoes and a continuation of Tomás Gutiérrrez Alea’s film, “Memories of Underdevelopment.”
“Memories of development” premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and has won more than twenty international awards.
