FESTIVAL DE FLAMENCO USA - MIAMI BEACH

En sólo 4 años Flamenco Festival USA se ha convertido en la actividad de flamenco más importante del país, recibiendo brillantes críticas en revistas como The New Yorker y The Wall Street Journal y con todas las entradas agotadas para salas tan prestigiosas como el City Center de Nueva York.

El festival es reconocido en España como el responsable del estallido de un renovado interés en América por el flamenco. Más de 100.000 americanos han asistido a los conciertos de Flamenco Festival USA, y el año 2005 promete cosechar aún mayor éxito.

Una de las más famosas bailaoras de España, galardonada con el Premio Nacional de Danza, conocida por su zapateado y su fuerza en el escenario. Presentará en Miami la premiere de "Sueños", su aclamado espectáculo de flamenco tradicional y que le ha dado su reputación como estrella del flamenco.

Gala Flamenca - Sueños, with Sara Baras

Sara Baras, Spain's most popular dancer and National Award of Dance recipient, is noted for her brilliant footwork and powerful presence. Baras will present the Miami premiere of "Sueños" (Dreams), her highly-acclaimed program of traditional flamenco that established her reputation as a flamenco star. Her company of eight dancers and seven musicians has performed throughout the world as the most important venues and festivals.

Four artists, Four Elements which makes the world of Flamenco. T his event, which also stars Gerardo Nuñez and other live performers, will be featured at New York's City Center just three nights prior, featuring both flamenco puro and contemporary innovations, bringing together the consolidated masters with the new upcoming artists in tribute to the vitality of flamenco.
