Participants: Dr. Myra M. Medina, professor of Miami Dade College, will be in charge of the presentation of the book, along with the author.

Comments about the book:
In Historias del país lápiz, the short stories include the author’s experiences in different stages throughout his life intertwined with detailed and picturesque descriptions of the Chilean topography, its vineyards, and places of interest. In this journey, one finds not only the nostalgia of childhood and adolescent years, but also the recollections of the person who returns to his native land after years of absence. In his book, Patricio E. Palacios transcends the generational divide by providing engaging stories in a transparent and captivating style that can stimulate the interest of various age groups. The book serves as an excellent contribution to Chilean literature for its breathtaking descriptions of natural environments, people, and traditions of Chile.
