Centro Cultural Español (CCEMiami) presents FlamenGO 2017 “The flame of flamenco on the go”, during the month of May.
FlamenGo is an international alternative program that CCEMiami have created with the intention of presenting to the community in South Florida, young emerging flamenco artists. This festival takes place in the month of May each year at a minimum cost for the public. The whole program consists in a series of activities related with flamenco culture in all its disciplines including visual arts, film, music, performing arts and lectures with a strong component in educational workshops for kids and adults.
May 2017 will be the third year of our program FlamenGo. During the past years this program has had an important impact for Downtown. It has created a meeting place for people where they can enjoy flamenco in an intimate, different and more relaxed way. FlamenGo is intended to support flamenco artists from Spain, usually musicians and dancers, many of them are the youngest generations of well-known dynasties of artists.
