Objective: to learn the basic principles of photography, and use the camera as a creative tool to explore their environment and develop self-expression.
Using disposable cameras and magazines for collages, the participants will play and discover new ways of expressing ideas, working collectively on the theme of personal values.

Bio: Roxy Azuaje was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. Her passion for photography began at early age, when a friend handed her a camera for a day. Since then, Roxy has explored the many aspects of the medium, becoming fascinated with the urban and social landscape that surrounds her. She is graduating from Florida International University with a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts in the summer 2013. Roxy has been facilitating photography workshops for youth since 2009, using photography as a tool of exploration and personal expression.
